“Peace Is Yet to Come”: The book describes interfaith education and peace education as a dynamic process. It is evolving in a vibrant way—in contrast to all the tendencies toward discord and division that are currently taking root in the public consciousness. The book emerged from the Interfaith Education and Peace Education Working Group formed by Religions for Peace Germany and offers a comprehensive overview of interfaith and peace education activities in German-speaking countries. It covers projects ranging from early childhood education through various school levels to university degree programs and research. It describes examples of educational work in cities and municipalities, as well as cultural encounters in music and art. Finally, it presents projects directly dedicated to peace education for conflict prevention and resolution. There are many connections between the projects, allowing them to enrich one another.
