From 24 to 30 October 2022, this year's international Open Access Week<\/a> will take place with the motto \"Open for Climate Justice\". Numerous institutions and players worldwide are using this decentralised week<\/a>\u00a0of events to disseminate information on the topic of \"open access\" to scientific results, to draw attention to new trends and developments and to network the community. This year's theme aims to foster connections and collaboration amongst the climate movement and the international open community. Sharing knowledge is a human right and addressing the climate crisis requires the rapid exchange of knowledge across geographical, economic and disciplinary boundaries.<\/p>

The University Library, via the Open Access Department<\/a> provides expert support in the creation, publication and long-term preservation of \"open access\" materials. Vom 24.bis 30. Oktober 2022 findet unter dem Motto \u201cOpen for Climate Justice\u201d die diesj\u00e4hrige internationale Open Access Week<\/a> statt. Zahlreiche Institutionen und Agierende weltweit nutzen diese dezentrale Veranstaltungswoche<\/a>, um Informationen zum Thema \u201cfreier Zugang\u201d zu wissenschaftlichen Ergebnissen zu verbreiten, auf neue Trends und Entwicklungen aufmerksam zu machen und die Gemeinschaft zu vernetzen. Das diesj\u00e4hrige Thema soll die Verbindung und Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Klimabewegung und der internationalen offenen Gemeinschaft f\u00f6rdern. Der Austausch von Wissen ist ein Menschenrecht, und die Bew\u00e4ltigung der Klimakrise erfordert den raschen Austausch von Wissen \u00fcber geografische, wirtschaftliche und disziplin\u00e4re Grenzen hinweg.<\/p>
