Within the first research topic, the printing quality of applied structures on technical surfaces is evaluated. For this purpose, a methodology for analyzing the printing quality was developed which not only considers interdependencies between quality parameters but also includes the substrate quality as an influencing factor. The focus of the second research topic is on the development of a laser transmission measuring system for characterizing the aerosol beam in real\u2010time. This novel approach enables an in situ process monitoring of the mass flow for aerosol\u2010based printing technologies.\nThe utilized aerosol\u2010jet printing system can be assigned to the functional printing technologies and was used for the application of electroconductive paths.
