The investigated systems consist of technical polyol-based microemulsions and particulate systems in free media, as well as under confinement. While these microemulsions are of interest for the production of high-performance polyurethane insulation foam material using the POSME process, knowledge of the diffusion processes within particulate systems is necessary for the tailored design of particulate products such as columns for size-selected chromatography.
