This anthology brings together the outstanding contributions of representatives from universities, schools and other educational institutions who came together in March 2023 as part of the scientific theme day \"Value formation in teacher training\" at the invitation of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universit\u00e4t Erlangen-N\u00fcrnberg in cooperation with the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs.\nAs an important instance of socialization, schools have the task of positively influencing the development of adolescents in line with the top educational goals. The formation of values plays a key role in this.
