The increasing global demand for electrical systems and the use of digital data are driving the need for cost-effective, flexible and green electronics. Printed electronics offer a solution for many of these requirements. Uncertainties regarding reliability and long process times due to the long post-treatment process using convection, as well as a lack of basic understanding of the general processes involved, often hinder its widespread use. Against this background, the basic principles and influencing factors of the sintering of printed electronics are explained at the beginning and photonic sintering processes are evaluated for their use in aerosol-jet printed structures based on targeted, systematic investigations. A further focus of the present work results from the lack of characterization methods, which make a meaningful electrical analysis of printed structures difficult. The development of a new electrical measurement method will enable the targeted analysis of electrical conductivity in the future, considering the special material characteristics of printed electronics.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
