From 24 to 30 October 2022, this year's international Open Access Week will take place with the motto "Open for Climate Justice". Numerous institutions and players worldwide are using this decentralised week of events to disseminate information on the topic of "open access" to scientific results, to draw attention to new trends and developments and to network the community. This year's theme aims to foster connections and collaboration amongst the climate movement and the international open community. Sharing knowledge is a human right and addressing the climate crisis requires the rapid exchange of knowledge across geographical, economic and disciplinary boundaries.

The University Library, via the Open Access Department provides expert support in the creation, publication and long-term preservation of "open access" materials. The Open Science Policy of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) also provides you with essential guidance on the implementation of Open Access and Open Science at FAU.
